Plants vs Zombies 2 - Penny's Pursuit - Zomboss - Missile Toe - December 2022

This Penny's quest focuses on the MONEY plant Missile Toe and was offered between between December 21, 2022 and December 28, 2022

Missile Toe is a member of the Winter-Mint family.
Costs 500 Sun. ( -25 Sun at levels 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 10)
Launches blasts of cold air - manually activated.
Said blast will do 1,200 damage to a 1x3 area. (+50 damage for levels 2 and 3. +100 damage thereafter.)
Said blast will chill zombies for 10 seconds. (+2 seconds at level 3 and +3 seconds at level 4.)
At level 5, said blast will FREEZE zombies for three (3) seconds. (+2 seconds at levels 7 and 9.)

Commentary:
This is essentially Banana Launcher with a chill effect. So essentially you are paying to have your Banana Launcher chill zombies.

Bottom Line:
The concept is neat. Definitely fits a Winter theme.
The problem with this plant is cost. 500 Sun is a huge investment to purchase a plant that the player needs to micro-manage. Most levels simply do not progress to the point where such large Sun cost plants are viable. Why not use Winter Melon and get the same chill effect and not have to worry about activation?

Level 3 Objective - Remove nine (9) health bars in three (3) minutes.
Reward is 20 Missile Toe
Players start with 1,750 Sun.

I do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players will get.

I also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
