Putin vows Russia will improve military forces in key defence speech

Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed the country would continue to develop and improve its military forces against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine as he addressed an end-of-year meeting of Russia's top defence chiefs, where he is expected to lay out Russia's military objectives for 2023.
