Bowled 20 games with a 173.9 avg with a high game of 214 on game 2. missed a possible no-Tap 300 game in the 10th frame I got 8 & spare then 9 & spare. total points 3477 / 20 games = 173.9. I think I will now bowl a few times with my thumb in the ball & use heavier balls like the pro shop guy says all the time. my avg on league has sucked too long with the thumb-less release. I had a 187 avg throwing 12lb lbs with my thumb in the ball. the hook & revs are FAR greater throwing the ball thumb-less because I can spin or rev the ball probably 5 times faster BUT I can't get the speed that way. I'm sick of having an under 170 avg! that sucks bad no matter how COOL the ball looks with a wide hooking revving ball.

I will try the way that got me my high game of 299 WAY, WAY back in 2006. that 299 was my 18th game in a row with a 12lb rainbow ball I bought at Meijers & had Wes Gibson who went by the name of Dr Hooks pro shop here in Kalamazoo MI. I was shocked Wes Gibson a former pro bowler died 4 years ago now so in 2018 I think. I didn't here of his passing until 2021. he did have a smoking issue & did die of lung cancer. he was Charlie Tapps close friend & it makes me said he died!! Charlie was & is a Pro-bowler he has 4 PBA titles. the last PBA title being a PBA 50. remember one thing though a Pro-bowler NEVER dies he goes away but is NEVER forgotten!

Since I want a 300 game I have been watching the televised 300 PBA games. the first 20 of the 300 games where short hook in 300's not the high rev wide outside in hook. I watched the Japanese lady's PBA: the one 300 I saw was a really short hook in with low rev's that she bowled like 3 years ago in 2020 I think. it didn't show the MPH of the ball or anything else accept the video
