On August 21 2006, an exoplanet TRES 2b was discovered. The planet is as dark as coal, it is also known to be the darkest exoplanet ever. The planet reflects less than one per cent of the light that hits it. The light reflected appears dimly red, which gives the planet an evil red colour.
