In My Shoes-Rocco Bene

Rocco Bene is an Australian pop/electro singer/songwriter.

At age 19 Rocco won the Kyle & Jackie O’s Hot 30 Teen Star Competition (2DAY FM radio station) in Australia, as a member of the duo called Gemini. In 2001 Gemini was signed to Warner Music for a single release titled “How do you know”. Rocco took a break from the music industry and in 2012 came back to his love of dance/pop/rock music, writing songs influenced by the change and experiences.

“Thunder” was the first result of his return and the lead track from a new EP due for release later this year. “Thunder” has been remixed by a number of DJs including Award winning Australian DJ Ivan Gough.

Recently Rocco has teamed up with various DJs and producers worldwide experimenting with different styles and sounds. The new track release “Fuck the past” is the result of collaboration with DJ Dejan Manojlovic (Deyman) and Aleksandar Stanić from Serbia. Despite being opposite sides of the globe the team formed a fresh musical chemistry which has led to a number of tracks for future releases.
