Romanian or Straight Leg Deadlifts recruit more hamstring muscle than leg curls.

Who cares - do them both since they both have unique benefits.

But too often I see folks training legs and doing a few sets of leg curls at the end of their leg day as their only hamstring movement.

This is why your hamstrings suck.

Include a lengthening and shortening movement for your hamstrings (a deadlift and a curl variation) to ensure you cover all bases!

Hamstrings….the other biceps!

I like using this @arsenal_strength Ground Based Deadlift after heavy squats to get the full stretch and contraction without having to load another big barbell after squats!
