Workers at Zebediela Citrus in Limpopo face an uncertain future. This after they were told to stop coming to work, effective from this month.
More than 200 workers of the erstwhile biggest citrus exporter in the country were told that the company doesn't have money to pay their salaries- they will also not receive their bonuses. The estate has been experiencing financial management problems, with allegations of corruption levelled against the Communal Property Association by some beneficiaries.
