TOPIC SYNOPSIS

Rock Apes are a group of alleged violent “ape-like” creatures reportedly sighted multiple times during the Vietnam War, which ranged from 1955 to 1975.

Hundreds of reports of Rock Apes have been told by American GIs and local Vietnamese. Many of which are very detailed.
-
In fact, sightings by Viet Cong and NVA troops were common enough that an NVA General (General Hoang Minh Tha) organized an expedition in 1974 to try to capture one.
-
No clear photographic evidence or bodies of Rock Apes were ever recovered… However, the sheer volume of reports warrants investigation.
