The Innocence Chronicles | Ep. 07 - The Central Park Five (20 Year Anniversary of Exoneration)

Today marks the 20-year anniversary of the day that five men, Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Korey Wise, Raymond Santana, and Yusef Salaam (known now as the "Central Park Five") were exonerated by DNA testing that corroborated a 2001 confession by a convicted serial rapist and murderer, Matias Reyes.

These 5 men were wrongfully convicted of raping and assaulting a female jogger in Central Park on April 19, 1989, based, in part, on false and coerced confessions.
