Did we just waste $6000 on this 17 year old Toyota Prius??

We bought this 2005 Toyota Prius for $6000 to use as a daily driver to replace my 2015 Silverado truck. With ridiculous gas prices our goal was to save enough money to both pay for the car but I have a little left over at the end of the month. When I did my first gas, mileage check, I was absolutely shocked! Did we screw up? Leave a comment below if you think this was a good deal.
