I fervently implore each of you to
let Christmas joy reign in all that you do.
Cleanse your hearts of antipathy and hate.
Remove dark thoughts of anger from your slate.

Brothers respect and embrace each other.
Unite to be kind to one another.
Sisters clasp your arms in sisterly love.
Gift each other blessings sent from above.

Let the love of Christmas flow forth from you
By striving to show compassion anew.
Cast aside grudges that harden your heart.
Forgive and forget, begin a fresh start.

Honor your neighbors, family and friends-
with adoration, on you it depends.
Spread goodness and cheer to others in need.
Let your light shine as those without you feed.

Let us fill our hearts with good will and cheer,
Insuring happiness throughout the year.
Let us give the best Christmas gift of all
as we ring out good tidings with a call.

May this proclamation spread far and wide,
as to this creed we commit and abide.
Let us abate our need to gain power
over the weak in their most needy hour.

May all world leaders end war and conflict,
by agreement, pact, treaty, or edict.
When all the global hostilities cease,
we’ll acclaim the Perfect Christmas of Peace!
