House January 6th Committee: Trump refused to urge peaceful protest ahead of attack

New evidence revealed by the House January 6th committee reveals that top-level advisors, as well as Hope Hicks, Trump’s former Communications Director, had repeatedly urged the president to call for non-violence ahead of the January 6th protest. The president reportedly refused to tweet out the requests.
