The Jan. 6th committee recommends four charges for former President Trump

The congressional committee investigating the January 6th attack on the Capitol has unanimously agreed to refer former President Trump to the DOJ on multiple criminal charges for his actions during the assault. The referrals are for obstructing an official proceeding, defrauding the U.S., making false statements, and inciting, assiting, or giving aid to an insurrection.
