As a Canadian, I can confirm that this isn't even parody. I've had two friends have doctors trying to push assisted suicide on them or their elderly parents. One of the elderly parents turned out to be ailing because they were PUT ON THE WRONG MEDS. By the hospital that then tried to use their poor condition to justify guilting the family into murdering them. When they realized it was their mistake, they just shrugged and said "Oops. Guess it's good you didn't kill them." It's literally terrifying to live here.

As a Canadian- there’s lots of shit to talk aboot Canada. Thank you for this.
Don’t forget, they are recommending assisted suicide for the “mentally ill“, which dependent on perception may include those without the Jabs. It’s getting wild up here- I hope our country is made fun of more, and louder.

My girlfriend who lives in Alberta went to the hospital ER 6 times and was tested for covid every time. And every time she was tested it was negative. They would not help her or run tests beyond covid testing. The last time she refused to leave the ER, and said she would die if she went home. It ended up being blood poisoning and she almost died.

Our medical care is just as bad in the US. Last year in my town everyone who got sick and needed any form of hospital treatment was sent home to die without any medical relief whatsoever. I had developed a lung condition caused by a severe allergy that had my oxygen compromised. They checked oxygen, did tests and big surprise I was having a severe reaction while my oxygen saturation was at 83 they told me to go home, there was nothing they could do for me. I told them I refused to leave without oxygen therapy so they finally set it up but not without throwing a huge fit. They saw my numbers, they knew I was in trouble yet death my only option in their books. I figured I just saw a bad doctor so I got on the medical website to file a complaint with the hospital to find out so many more were also doing the same thing. So many people ended up driving several hours away to another hospital for treatment. Quality medical just doesn't exist anymore

I’m an American in the chronic illness community with friends in Canada who have long-term chronic illness and disability, either physical or mental health wise. They also tend to be below the poverty line. They told me about MAiD and it’s horrifying that doctors are offering this as opposed to the government helping them get access to better treatment options (some of which exist outside of Canada). Every time I mention this, without fail, I am attacked by Canadians lol for insulting their healthcare and spreading lies. I’m glad someone made a video about it.

The other day I saw an interview with a de-trans girl from Canada, who chopped off her breasts and then regretted it not long after. She became desperatly depressed for having messed up with her life and herself. She called a suicide line for help on not committing suicide, and they pushed MAID on her to end her suffering. Fortunately she could see through this demonic suggestion and loved on to give this precious testimony.

I'm Canadian and since COVID our healthcare system has gotten horrible. We have had between 80 to 100 doctors that have died mysteriously and no mainstream media will cover it. These were healthy, young doctors, who died in their sleep, swimming, etc. There is only one common denominator the v@((!^e -- you should do a video on that. Thank you JP for sharing the unfortunate truths that are going on in Canada at this time under the Liberal government

I'm canadian and this is how I feel about this.
If you're in intence pain and have a disease that is gonna end you sooner than later and you don't want to deal with it anymore and put your family through hell caring for you, then assisted suicide is perfectly fine in my books.
If you're sad and you wanna die for that reason alone, then assisted suicide is messed up. Those people should be helped, not talked into suicide.

As a Canadian, we gave seen our health care system deteriorate drastically, especially over the past 10 years. My elderly neighbour, 78 years old, recently had serious swelling in her legs and she couldn’t walk. An ambulance was called that took her to emergency, where she waited EIGHTEEN HOURS to be seen by a doctor. The waiting room was full of other emergencies!
There is a huge shortage of doctors, and in the last year, FORTY YOUNG DOCTORS have died of “unknown causes.” Hmmm…all fully vaccinated and boosted. But do they question the vaccines? Of course not!! They are pushing MORE vaccines, starting at 5 years old. It’s sickening.

22 years ago, I went to school in Ontario. I loved the country and the people and had planned on staying on permanently, but things didn't work out that way. I thought for many years that it was a mistake leaving and returning to the States, but now I am glad that I did. As bizarre as it is getting here, it looks to be far worse up North. I wish the best for all Canadians and their country. I truly hope that Canada, and the rest of the West can get past this scourge that is afflicting us all.

Be mindful, aware and critical of what you see and hear. Get all the information from all sources, as some sources can miss or omit crucial parts. Don't take one source as the truth, but educate yourself from all sides. Also don't write based on emotion but based on knowledge. I just feel like most people hear one thing and expect the worst.

What is even scarier is that it does not necessarily require written consent. It can be verbal consent and carried out immediately. Also it does not have to be a doctor, it could be a nurse or a pharmacist also. Another detail is thst doctors are instructed by their licensing board to never put MAID as cause of death but rather put whatever condition lead to the request for it on death certificates. Also they are not to list the drugs administered in the process on thr death certificate either. Sounds to me like they don't want a paper trail knowing full well in the future people are going to want this overturned and want to hold doctors liable. It is evil beyond anything I could have imagined this country doing

As a Canadian, when they first started debating the MAID program (Medical Assistance In Dying - it's such a creepy euphemistic acronym), I thought it seemed like sensible legislation. If someone is dying a slow, painful and utterly unavoidable death, it seems humane to give them that option. At the time, there were those who said it was a slippery slope, and I recall thinking "oh come on, it's not like we're gonna pressure and/or coerce relatively young people with treatable problems into suicide" - after all, we Canadians pride ourselves on being a compassionate and sensible nation. I have to admit it's been a shocking surprise to see just how slippery that slope really is.
I'll be the first to admit there are problems with our Healthcare system. A shortage of family doctors, long wait times for certain surgeries and treatments, and of course the disincentivization of outside-the-box and independent thinking that tends to come with a centralized, bureaucratic system.
But I have to say, when it does work, it can work pretty well. When I was 30 and in fantastic health, I was absolutely blindsided by a diagnosis of stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. I was immediately ushered into treatment at the BC Cancer Institute, with an oncologist who was among the best in his field, worldwide. Not only did I receive top tier treatment with expensive chemo drugs, I also got into a clinical trial testing a new chemo drug that was found to be highly effective (it's now become standard in treating Hodgkins, iirc). All told, my 6 months of treatment would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars for the chemo drugs alone, and I didn't pay a dime - other than the government medical insurance plan I had been paying for years, which was $50/month (which has since been dropped altogether in BC).
The thing is, I was, and still am, a self-employed small business owner in the construction industry, like my father before me. Had I been American, at the immortal and reckless age of 30, I would've had the bare minimum health insurance plan, if any. The cancer diagnosis was truly shocking, no one in my family had ever had Lymphoma and no one saw it coming. The end result would've been the impoverishment of my family. My dad would've sold his house to pay for my treatment, and I would've felt responsible.
This isn't a wholesale defense of socialized Healthcare, I just wanted to give an example of it functioning as designed and saving my life - it can sometimes work quite well. And from what I understand, unless you can afford it, Americans are gonna run into many of the same problems we do up here.
Of course, any and all of the good will our public Healthcare system generated in me was completely erased by the covid and vaccine policies of the past few years, which were more corrupt and evil than I could've imagined; tho I suppose that wasn't unique to Canada...
Anyways, didn't mean to rant, just wanted to put my story out there. I'm not a commie, I swear! Lol
