The chinese word "sifu" (Cantonese), when describing a training master in shaolin martial arts is derived from "Si" meaning Position and and "Fu" meaning Father and is used regardless of whether the person is male or female. The idea of a "father". The "father" here is best described as the masculine principle, and that principle is the seed of "Imagination" in the mind.
