Asteroids are the leftover rocks that do not contribute to the formation of planets and do not grow large enough to qualify as planets.

Asteroids have highly erratic forms and are dotted with impact craters. The gravity of some of the largest asteroids is strong enough to form them into spheres. Some asteroids are found in double and triple systems, while others contain moons.

The size, information, separation from the sun, mass, density, and orbital period of asteroids and comets are all displayed in this movie.
