Word 1
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 27:39-44
• Matt 27:39-40 The first set of people that verbally abused Jesus, were passersby and stander by. These are people, who had no clue what was happening, but were busybodies with Jesus' affair. Jesus was falsely accused of saying he would destroy their temple and raise it in three days. Think of it, not that he had destroyed it, but was saying so. This accusation was used against Jesus in his trial by the high council (Mat_26:61). It is ironic that Jesus was in the very process of fulfilling his own prophecy. Because Jesus is the Son of God, who always obeys the will of the Father, he did not come down from the cross, even though they dared him to do so.

Word 2
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 27:39-44
• Matt 27:41-43 The second set of persons that verbally abused Jesus were the Chief Priests, Scribes and Elders of the temple. Imagine religious leaders coming to mock a dying man! How far in depravity can men get and yet claim their religion is the only true one and they are the only representatives of God? If He had saved Himself He could not have saved others. If He had saved Himself His purpose of coming into the world would have been defeated. Coming down from the cross was Satan’s last attempt to keep Christ from dying on the cross to defeat him and redeem man. If God had permitted Himself to be moved by such deceitful, idle words He would have been defeated. It is not all words or accusations that require a response.

Word 3
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 27:39-44
• Matt. 27:44 The last set of persons that verbally abused Jesus were the two thieves, with whom he was crucified. Php. 2:7 says that Jesus made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant. Jesus deliberately brought himself so low that even a common criminal could revile him. Later one of these criminals repented. Jesus promised that the repentant criminal would join him in paradise (Luk_23:39-43). This is a bit of warning that by the words of our mouth, we are either justified or condemned.

Father, in the name of Jesus, may my mouth not be a hindrance to or mess-up my destiny in Jesus' name! James 3:2
2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ the messiah. Now in Jesus name, I declare by faith that I walk in divine favour, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. I have restoration, I have prominence, I have petitions granted, laws changed, policies and rules changed, and battles won, which I do not have to fight all because of favour. The blessing and favour of God is on my life. In Jesus name, every morning, when I arise, I would speak and expect divine favour to go before me and surround me as with a shield, with goodwill and pleasures forevermore.

Doors are now open for me that men said are impossible to open. No obstacles can stop me, no hindrances can delay me. In Jesus name, I am honoured by my Father, as I receive genuine favour that comes directly from God. I am special to Him, I am the object of His affection, I am the apple of His eyes, I am blessed and highly favoured of the Lord. Everyone and everything shall work to favour me. Angels Goodness and Mercy shall accompany me in all my ways. It is written with long life will God satisfy me and show me his salvation. Therefore, I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I declare over me and my household today that the yoke and burden of death over us is broken. So shall it be for me and my household today in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!

JESUS IS LORD!
