WARTIME Christmas tree made of camouflage nets was installed on Friday (December 16) in Ukraine’s southern city Mykolaiv.

The tree was created above the monument to Saint Nicholas that was protectively covered with sandbags in the beginning of Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Camouflage nets were created by volunteers and will be sent to the soldiers fighting on the frontlines when the holidays are over.

Many Mykolaiv residents came to see the unusual Christmas tree and voiced their wish that Ukraine will win the war that has already entered its ninth month.
