1 Timothy 6:8 King James Version
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR FRIENDS!!!

I was very much convicted, as well as challenged by this morning's passage of scripture, because I'll admit right now guys, I don't always show gratitude and contentment for the things that God gives me. I show this by being panicked and concerned over our finances, and yes, I become outright ungrateful at times over what I think is my lack of “things”. I have this tendency to want to see what the other side of the fence looks like so to speak, and usually that bites me in the behind! but then, as I read these words of scripture, my heart is convicted over how I fail to not only show gratitude, but how badly I need to learn to be content. This doesn't mean settling for anything less than what God wants me to have, but to as Jesus said in that precious prayer, “Give us day by day Our Daily Bread” (Luke 11:3) and learn to be content with what God has given me. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional, are really giving me cause to think about this, and I'd like to share these questions with you right now. Please read these questions very carefully, and see just what I mean.

What can you do to pursue God and find contentment in Him?

How can you express your gratitude to Him for His faithfulness?

Right now, guys, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from this morning's passage of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I say really causes you to think about this issue. Come join me in this vlog and learn what it means to be truly content with what you have, as well as who you are in Christ! 😊

As I close this post with all of you tonight my friends, I want to challenge you to think about these questions and ask yourself how you can show your gratitude to God for His faithfulness, love, and mercy to you. Ask God every day to help you learn how to be content with what you have and who you are in Him and choose to be just that. Strive to thank God every day for what He gives you, don't complain, grumble, or gripe over what you lack, but choose to count your many blessings, to see what God has done, is doing, and will continue to do in your life. I pray that we all have Agur’s attitude and that we recognize God as the provider of everything we have, and that we show God gratitude for what we are given. That God gives us “just enough” but that it is truly more than enough!

UNTIL SUNDAY EVERYONE:

HAVE A RELAXING, SWEET, AND BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
