Hello beautiful people Tammy here! I started eating plant based foods for my health and then it evolved into my consciousness of the environmental impact from eating animals and eating animals altogether. A little history to share with you today. I had high cholesterol and suffered from a heart attack at 37 years old. I was so concerned that I would have the same outcome as my father who died at 52 and other family of casualty of early fatality. Heart disease is hereditary and removing animal cholesterol from my diet changed my life. No more pills, no more heart issues and I felt great! Plant based food is loaded with nutrition and carries all of the micro and macro nutrients needed for a human diet. So you might be asking how one goes from eating a predominant meat diet their whole life to plants only diet right? Like what to cook, how to cook and where to get all the things to cook right? I thought the same thing too. I had to get creative and just do a little reading and then got in the kitchen every day and began recreating all the recipes my family grew up with to plant based. This meant I did not have to feel like I was missing out on anything. That is why I created an entire cookbook for all the special occasions and holiday's throughout the year.
