JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 27:34-38
• Matt 27:34 In the Greek language, "gall" and "myrrh" are the same word. Since myrrh was used as a narcotic to deaden pain, were the soldiers showing mercy to Jesus by offering Him myrrh? Probably not. More likely, it was because they didn't want Him to die too quickly. They wanted to lengthen His suffering. At His birth, Jesus was given myrrh (Mat_2:11). Why? Because He is the Anointed One, because His Name is as ointment poured forth (Son_1:3), because He came to die. Perhaps it was because He knew it was a drug to deaden the pain, Jesus refused to take it, He would suffer fully conscious and with a clear mind.

• Matt 27:35 Each Jewish male wore five articles of clothing: a headband, sandals, an inner cloak sort of like a nightshirt, a belt, and an outer tunic, or robe. The soldiers divided Jesus' clothing among themselves. But when it came to the outer tunic, they threw dice to see who would get it. Why? Because "without seam" (see Joh_19:23), it was a beautifully constructed garment. As God Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ died for their sins, the soldiers played games on Golgotha.

• Matt. 27:36-38 The pain from the nails piercing Jesus' hands would cause His pectoralis major muscles to go into cramps and His lungs to no longer operate properly. The only way one being crucified could breathe would be to straighten his legs, place his full weight on the nail driven through his feet, and stand straight, thereby forcing air into his lungs. To exhale, he would bend his knees, causing the full weight of his body to hang on the nails in his hands. That is why when they wanted to finally kill a man being crucified, the Romans would break his legs. It was the most cruel, torturous death ever devised by man. Cicero said it was not fit for even the most common criminal. This was what Jesus suffered for us.

Father, in the name of Jesus, help me not to crucify Jesus again and expose him to shame through my lifestyle!
Heb. 6:4-6
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,
5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ the messiah. Now in Jesus name, I declare by faith that I walk in divine favour, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. I have restoration, I have prominence, I have petitions granted, laws changed, policies and rules changed, and battles won, which I do not have to fight all because of favour. The blessing and favour of God is on my life. In Jesus name, every morning, when I arise, I would speak and expect divine favour to go before me and surround me as with a shield, with goodwill and pleasures forevermore.

Doors are now open for me that men said are impossible to open. No obstacles can stop me, no hindrances can delay me. In Jesus name, I am honoured by my Father, as I receive genuine favour that comes directly from God. I am special to Him, I am the object of His affection, I am the apple of His eyes, I am blessed and highly favoured of the Lord. Everyone and everything shall work to favour me. Angels Goodness and Mercy shall accompany me in all my ways. It is written with long life will God satisfy me and show me his salvation. Therefore, I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I declare over me and my household today that the yoke and burden of death over us is broken. So shall it be for me and my household today in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!

JESUS IS LORD!
