Mayor Pete has been caught with his hand in the carbon jar, again. The same man who staged riding his bike to the White House with a motorcade of SUVs in tow, secretary of transportation Pete Buttigiege, has flown on taxpayer funded private jets at least 18 times this year.
At the rate of $5,000 per hour on one of the largest emitters of carbon, the secretary seems to have abandoned his cries for all electric transportation and the elimination of greenhouse gases.
Blame it on his lack of experience or hypocritical attitude, but with inflation at all time highs and the price of gas at record levels, how is it even possible for a federal employee to have the means and approval to fly private at their leisure?

Washington is broken.

Here at Convention of States we have a solution as big as the problem.

An Article V Convention of States is called and controlled by the states and has the power to PROPOSE constitutional amendments.

These are our three, simple talking points.

1. Limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government (including the president)
2. Limit the terms of office for federal officials
3. Limit the ability of Congress and the president to spend and waste our hard- earned money, via a Balanced Budget Amendment.
