Virginia Tech - Where the 1st Amendment goes to DIE.

At Virginia Tech, the first amendment only works one way. In one of the most troubling first amendment cases of our time Kiersten Hening, the star soccer player from Virginia has received the go-ahead for her suit against Virginia Tech to move to trial.

In a time where kneeling during the anthem, destroying flags, and other anti-America demonstrations are being celebrated, Kiersten was punished for not only exercising her first amendment by refusing to denounce her country, but for being seemingly ‘too patriotic.’ She was benched, harassed, verbally assaulted, and iced out from the rest of the team.

Washington is broken.

Here at Convention of States we have a solution as big as the problem.

An Article V Convention of States is called and controlled by the states and has the power to PROPOSE constitutional amendments.

These are our three, simple talking points.

1. Limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government (including the president)
2. Limit the terms of office for federal officials
3. Limit the ability of Congress and the president to spend and waste our hard- earned money, via a Balanced Budget Amendment.
