A young boy grew up in a good home until lies and betrayals slowly started to break what Robert had thought was an unbreakable foundation. As he grew up, he dove into drugs and alcohol to suppress the mental illnesses he was dealing with.
Eventually the drugs and alcohol didn’t work, so he looked for more serve measures to help his issues.
That’s when he found a shotgun and placed it under his chin attempting to take his life.
Little did Robert know, his time on this Earth wasn’t over just yet.
He was blessed beyond means, now spreading his story and experiences to help those who live with similar mental illnesses battle and defeat them so they don’t take the risk in losing their amazing life.
It’s not over until it’s over, never stop fighting for a better life!

“My will to live is stronger than my cry for death” - Rob Stover

Today, William and Rob discuss Rob’s story, mental health matters currently in the news, (including the suicide of Stephen “tWitch” Boss), and talk about hope and help.

Rob Stover, is a miraculous and inspirational survivor of a suicide attempt. I feel privileged to have this man agree to be on my True Crime channel, sharing his story and a message of hope, and advice to those suffering with depression, especially that it is so highly present during this holiday season.

Rob encourages us to be there for each other to listen to each other to reach out to others and to especially focus on your happy and strong friends, because sometimes they are suppressing unseen misery of their own, and are too kind and considerate of others to share it, or ask for help.

We just witnessed the suicide yesterday of the famous dancer and DJ from the Ellen DeGeneres show and from “so you think you can dance” DJ twitch, (Stephen “tWitch” Boss).
After happily dancing with his wife and three children in front of a Christmas tree, within just stays he walked out of the house to a nearby motel and shot himself in the head in the motel bathroom. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones, his family, his fans. This was a man who, on appearances, had everything in the world to live for, a happy enigmatic TV personality, talented dancer, and DJ. He will be sorely missed.

Thank you for joining us on this informational and educational show and please, if you’re contemplating any depression or suicidal issues contact the national suicide prevention line the number will be provided at the beginning and end of this description as well as throughout today’s interview, thank you for joining us.

Please chat in with any questions or concerns and reach out to your friends and loved ones -all of them -check on them, initiate conversations, spend time with each other.

All we have in this world is each other and for many of us, our faith thank you for joining.
