In the US, the latest F-35 fighter crashed during a test flight in Texas, according to manufacturer Lockheed Martin. The relevant footage was posted on social media.

They recorded the moment when the nose of the aircraft touches the ground, and then the pilot ejects. The plane skidded off the runway, spinning around its own axis and catching the ground with its wing.

"We are aware of an F-35B crash on the runway...we know that the pilot was able to eject successfully," the company said.

The incident occurred at the US Air Force Fort Worth, the infrastructure of which, in particular, is used by Lockheed Martin.

A similar situation occurred at the end of October. The fifth generation F-35 fighter jet crashed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
