Out Of The Blank #1295 - Ryan Clement

Ryan Clement holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Waterloo where his research focused on the emergence of narrative from game mechanics. He also holds an MA in Communication and Culture from York University and Ryerson University where he completed a graphic novel project comparing the globalization of American comics versus Japanese manga. Ryan also designs games, publishes creative writing and comics, and has experience both in improvised theatre and multimedia storytelling.
