Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected the idea of Russian athletes competing at the 2024 Olympics under a neutral flag. The International Olympic Committee chief Thomas Bach earlier said that status of Russian athletes participating in the games was still unclear. "Any neutral flag is impossible for Russian athletes, as all their flags are stained in blood," Zelenskyy later said.
