An ancient Mexican ceremony involving acrobats and a pole

A school in central Mexico is trying to preserve an ancient ceremony. It’s called “Danza de los Voladores” or the Dance of the Flyers.
Traditionally, the ritual has been popular during the Spring Equinox in the Americas and was performed to make requests to the gods.
