Golden Triangle Thailand - Southeast Asia's infamous Golden Triangle located in Chiang Saen of the Chiang Rai province. Located about 70km (43 miles) from the city of Chiang Rai you will find this once famous opium trading area. Thailand borders two other countries, Myanmar and Laos.

You will also find the huge golden statue of Buddha called the Phra Chiang Saen Si Phaendin sitting on a boat. Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet!
