Bakersfield City Council approves vacant building ordinance

The newly approved ordinance, originally introduced to the council by Ward 4 councilmember and new Vice Mayor Andrae Gonzales, will make the owners of vacant buildings and properties responsible for securing and maintaining their holdings in Bakersfield.
