K-pop sensation BTS on hiatus as members begin mandatory military service

BTS, the biggest K-pop group in the world, is on hiatus after its oldest member began his mandatory 18 months of military service for South Korea.

While granting the international sensation was fiercely debated, BTS ultimately decided that all its members would eventually serve.
