Treehouse Timelapse Remodel - The "SheTree"

The ancient oak tree in our backyard has been home to several treehouses over 50+ years. This tree has provided innumerable hours of fun, forts, and fantasy for my brother, myself, and our cousins when we were young. The original treehouse was taken down at some point and became my pony barn, but then my Dad built a new one (this one) for his grandchildren 25 years ago. The roof was rotting away, the sides were sketchy, the squirrels and raccoons had filled it with black walnuts and a big mess, the ladder was terrifying - so it was time to either take it down or give it a makeover. I decided I wanted to make it over into a relaxing reading platform for warm sunny days and cozy moonlit nights. A friend called it my "SheTree" - since I don't have a "She Shed", I guess I will enjoy a "SheTree"!

Thanks to my family for helping me bring this treehouse back to life!
