A little about BATTLETECH - Marauder, GM's Pride & Joy

One more note. The Marauder BattleMech is so old that it appeared first in Battledroids, the predecessor of BattleTech. Marauder miniatures have been re-sculpted several times, more recently due to legal disputes. The original Marauder artwork bear striking resemblance to Zentradi Officer's Battle Pods (Roiquonmi Glaug Battle Pod) from the anime series "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross". The substitute Marauder images (closer from the real deal since the producers of this magnificent machine allowed her to be represented in all her splendor) have replaced previous artwork, and aspects of the design have influenced artwork and construction for several other BattleMechs in the tabletop game.
