I Moved To Japan… But Can’t Speak Japanese

At first, living here with out the ability to converse with 90% of people I meet was quite a shock. Getting basic things at grocery stores and local shops in Japan seemed like it would be a real challenge, but honestly everyone here is so nice and understanding (of my obvious ignorance) that it’s been easier than expected to survive in Japan as a foreigner.
