I'd Rather Die - Judge Clarence Thomas #shorts

In the lead-up to the addition of Judge Clarence Thomas to the Supreme court in the United States. Thomas was embroiled in a scandal where he was accused of sexual harassment. There was a strong possibility Thomas would be forced out of the running. Perhaps simply step down to prevent any further soiling of his name, but that was not to be!

Rather than do what his detractors were hoping for Thomas stood tall and remained in the running. While during the Senate committee hearing he told those in attendance that he would rather die than step away from the process. Not he said, because he wanted to sit on the Supreme court. But because he would not be pushed out by bullies.
