Following up on our prior lesson, Bianca & I go over the follow up with Kurt Busiek and (The Late) John Paul Leon's Batman: Creature of the Night!

Set in a world where Batman exists as a comic book, the story focuses on a young fan, Bruce Wainwright, who grows up in Boston and whose life story ends up mirroring Bruce Wayne's in several ways. These lead to a bat-like creature manifesting as Wainwright's guardian, whom the boy begins to use to try to get justice.

This book is pretty much the counterpart to Superman: Secret Identity in every way! Clark didn't care for the comic comparisons and knew how reality worked. Bruce LOVES the comparisons and believes the world should be as fair as it is in the comics! Clark improves the world and is able to keep a stable life! Bruce doesn't change the world AS much as Clark does AND nearly is destroyed by his obsession!

This is a brilliant companion piece to Superman Secret identity. It's not AS good as it but it's still good nonetheless!
