Will our garden survive | Remote Alaska living

Because of the hot temperatures out garden is doing very good, especially the warmer crops. The problem is it hasn't rained at all this summer and we are critically low on water now. Luckily for us we have a great community, who are always willing to lend a helping hand. We were able to pump some water from a friends cabin and brining it back to ours. Hopefully we will get some much needed rain.

Thanks for watching.

We are building a cabin in southeast Alaska. It’s an off grid cabin on an island near Juneau. We are towards making a homestead out here and becoming more sustainable through frugal living, hunting, fishing and gardening. Alaska homesteading is more than just words is a way of life.
