Hundreds of protesters marched in Belgrade on Monday to support Serbs living in Kosovo and Metohija. Footage shows activists burning the Kosovarian flag, while chanting slogans against NATO, among others. The footage comes after tensions ran high over the weekend with Serbs blocking roads in northern Kosovo. Tensions between Serbia and Kosovo increased in July when Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced a ban on Serbian license plates, citing the 2013 Brussels Agreement intended to normalise relations. The situation escalated over the weekend after violence erupted over protests by Serbs in northern Kosovo. On Sunday, Serbia's President Alexandar Vucic stated that the Serbian army stands ready to defend the rights of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.
