Sing a Song About Brown Sugar

Atlanta's Eric Quincy Tate starts today's Segue City Special singing about the virtues of leaving white sugar alone - not an easy thing to do at this time of the year, but at least it's not as bad as high-fructose corn syrup. Then we follow it up with EW&F with one their biggest hits and with that, we've finished today's segue and noodle on tomorrow's... still no idea yet which direction that one will head...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
