One of the best breakfasts you can make with sourdough starter is Sourdough Waffles. These delicious little golden brown grids hold the melted butter and maple syrup so perfectly you don't even have to dip. You just slice, slide and eat, then repeat!

Mmmmm butter and syrup, how about a heck yah for that right there! Waffles for breakfast, waffles for lunch, waffles for dinner and waffles for brunch.... it's just one of those things that you can drive into your mouth anytime of the day.

Equipment
WAFFLE MAKER

Ingredients
1 cup Sourdough starter (active)
1 cup Flour
2 tbsp Sugar
2 tsp Baking powder
2 eggs
½ cup Milk
¼ cup Butter (melted)
½ tsp Salt

Instructions
1). In large bowl, add dry ingredients and mix well. Add wet ingredients, mx until smooth.
2). Preheat waffle maker to med-high.
3). Add ½ cup waffle batter to waffle maker when it is preheated. Remove waffle when waffle maker when is done.
4). Recipe makes 4 waffles.
