Lourdes Del Río is an award-winning Puerto Rican journalist. For more than 20 years she has been working with Univision, where he is the Correspondent for the National Newscast in Miami. From there, Lourdes has covered all kinds of news events, such as presidential elections, the terrorist attacks of September 11, the migratory crisis, and natural phenomena such as the historic Hurricane Katrina, where she was the only journalist broadcasting live, in Spanish, the passing of the cyclone.

In recent times Lourdes has also extensively covered the Covid 19 pandemic. In 2021 Lourdes embarked on the adventure of creating her own podcast “En Positivo”, which more than a podcast is a way of seeing life and living it.
