European Union moves to give Ukraine a head start on reconstruction

"The European Union is moving to give Ukraine a head start in future reconstruction.

On Friday, the EU council approved more than $18 billion dollars in loans for Ukraine's short term financial needs.

That includes repairing its infrastructure and making the first steps toward post war reconstruction.

Help is also coming from Norway, which is pledging $100 million dollars for repairing Ukraine's energy infrastructure."
