Lieutenant Colonel Michael Aquino, a high ranking Satanist and military official who specialized in psychological operations, founded the first tax exempt & government recognized satanic institution, The Temple of Set, in 1975. Aquino joined the military in 1968 and was an active member in Anton Lavey’s Church of Satan from 1969-1975. Aquino’s home was raided on August 14th, 1987 and although videos were found of him performing satanic ritualistic sexual abuse on children, no charges were brought against him because he was a CIA operative and the issue was a matter of ‘national security’.
