So in a bit of change to normal programming, in this video we get a tad philosophical
about the modern day phenomenon of social media trolls.

It can be a bit of rabbit hole and much has already been written, but here are is experience as well as some perspectives.

From my standpoint, there are four (4) major categories of social media trolls, with plenty of sub-categories.

Malcontent / Sociopath Trolls
Marketing / Spam Trolls
Data Mining / Fraud / Theft Trolls
Political / Ideological / Propaganda Trolls

Some trolls are source of mirth, while with some others, the stakes are higher.

They can be good for one’s social media profile, but mostly they are bad.

This channel (on the YouTube platform), recently got targeted by a cowardly ‘dislike gang’ and here is the video in question. If you want to upset those pathetic bullies, then consider a thumbs up and help turnaround the negative effects on the algorithm.
