Manufacturing of football for FIFA World Cup

Pakistan produces nearly 70% of the worlds footballs. At least 5000 football factories are located in Sialkot city.The cottage industry of Football manufacturing at Sialkot is almost 100 years old. Around 40 millions soccer balls are made here each year. Pakistan has been the official makers of the FIFA World Cup official match-ball since the 1982. Once again, Sialkot has earned the unique honor of making the match ball "Al-Rihla"(the Journey) for 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.stitched
