Kern County author honored by Literacy Council releases memoir

Norman Farrell Brown learned to read at the age of 47, but his late literacy start hasn't slowed him down on his path to success. He just published his first book, with the help of several mentors at the Kern Literacy Council. 23ABC's Keeley Van Middendorp sat down with him to talk about his life and how his experiences have shaped him.
