FDU WMA Club Meeting XXII: Wiley ft. Zach Day and WMA Club President JACK MITCHELL!!!!

The second and final meeting of the 2022 Fall Semester will be on Thursday 12/8/22 at 5 PM in Mansion Room 12/Zoom (For Zoom link, click on our link in our bio)/Instagram LIVE/LinkedIn LIVE/Twitter LIVE/YouTube LIVE/Twitch/Flutin/Rumble. Our speaker will be our very own WMA Club President, Jack Mitchell from Wiley as he presents CMA, CFA, and CFP Exams. Jack Mitchell is a Junior Accounting Major at FDU Silberman College of Business. He is involved in numerous clubs at FDU Silberman. He is a member of Beta Alpha Psi: Nu Sigma Chapter, Accounting Society, Marketing Club, Finance Club, CFA Club. He is also a member of the FDU Silberman Dean’s Student Advisory Board and an e-board member of the Student Management Investment Fund Club. Plus, he is the President of the Wealth Management Advisory Club. On top of that, he was FDU Silberman’s Team Captain in the 2022 Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge. He has also achieved certifications ranging from Bloomberg to Social Media and he is the recipient of the CMA Scholarship.

Outside of FDU Silberman, he is a member of New Jersey Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, NJCPA Morris/Sussex Chapter, NJCPA Student Programs & Scholarships Committee, NJCPA Accounting & Auditing Standards Interest Group, NJCPA Business & Industry Professionals Interest Group, NJCPA Cannabis Interest Group, NJCPA Emerging Leaders Interest Group, NJCPA Emerging Technologies Interest Group, NJCPA Federal Taxation Interest Group, NJCPA Governmental Accounting & Auditing Interest Group, NJCPA Nonprofit Interest Group, NJCPA State Taxation Interest Group, AICPA NJ Chapter, Associate General Accountant, AGA North New Jersey Chapter, The American Finance Association, eMarketing Association, International Federation of Accountants, National Association of Sales Professionals, The Professional Accounting Society of America, Young CPA Network, Institute of Management Accountants, and IMA Morris/Essex Chapter, He is also a Campus Ambassador for Wiley, Wiley Edge, NJCPA, AICPA, IMA, Centered, Collegiate World, CareerVillage, Firstcard, GETTR, FLIT Invest, Buddi, and World College Poker. Plus, he is a brand ambassador for Popl. He is also not only the Director of Buddi’s Campus Ambassador Program which he built from the ground up, but also the Chief Operating Officer at Buddi which is a start-up social media application exclusive to undergraduates seeking to create connections, encourage transparency, and facilitate comfort within the college student community. By uniting mental wellness with social life, students will always have a Buddi. He interned with Withum in Tax Verification in Spring 2022 and Deloitte in Audit and Assurance in Summer 2022. He will be interning once again at Withum in Spring 2023 in Tax and will be interning with Wiss & Co in Summer 2023 in Audit & Assurance.

He will be presenting IN-PERSON, so we encourage all of our Florham Campus members to come in-person for this meeting and dress business casual if possible. Make sure to bring all of your friends to both meetings and have questions ready for our awesome speakers coming in. Plus, you will earn PDP Points and we will be holding a giveaway at our second meeting. Finally, we will have a big surprise for our members at our second meeting.
