WMA Club Meeting FS22 - Meeting XXI: Wiley ft. Zach Day & WMA Club President, JACK MITCHELL!!!!

Hello and Welcome to the final FDU Wealth Management Advisory Club Meeting of the 2022 Fall Semester. In this meeting, we have Zach Day & our very own WMA Club President, Jack Mitchell to come and speak to us about the CMA/CFA/CFP Exams. Jack is a Junior Accounting Major at FDU Silberman College of Business. He is involved in numerous clubs at FDU Silberman. He is a member of Beta Alpha Psi: Nu Sigma, Accounting Society, Marketing Club, Finance Club, CFA Club. He is also a member of the FDU Silberman Dean’s Student Advisory Board and an e-board member of the Student Management Investment Fund Club where they invest $100,000 in the Stock Market. Plus, he is the President of the Wealth Management Advisory Club. He has also achieved over 50 certifications ranging from Bloomberg to Social Media. Last night, he became the brand new Treasurer of Beta Alpha Psi Nu Sigma Chapter and in the process made FDU Silberman History by becoming the 1st FDU Silberman Student to become an e-board member of 3 different business clubs at the same time (SMIF, BAP, WMA) completing the trifecta or the Triple Crown.

Outside of FDU Silberman, he is a member of numerous organizations like NJCPA, AICPA and IMA, to name a few. He is also a Campus Ambassador for Wiley, Wiley Edge, NJCPA, AICPA, IMA, Centered, Collegiate World, CareerVillage, Firstcard, FLIT Invest, Buddi, and World College Poker. Plus, he is a brand ambassador for Popl. He is also not only the Director of Buddi’s Campus Ambassador Program which he built from the ground up, but also the Chief Operating Officer at Buddi which is a start-up social media application exclusive to undergraduates seeking to create connections, encourage transparency, and facilitate comfort within the college student community. By uniting mental wellness with social life, students will always have a Buddi. He interned with Withum in Tax Verification in Spring 2022. Finally, he interned with Deloitte in Audit and Assurance in Summer 2022. He will be interning once again at Withum in Spring 2023 in Tax and will be interning with Wiss & Co in Summer 2023 in Audit & Assurance. Fun Fact about Jack is that he is ranked #1 in FDU Silberman’s Professional Development Program with over 9,025 points and is the 1st FDU Silberman Student to break not only break 9K points, but also to reach Level 2 & Level 3 in the PDP Program.

Wealth Management Advisory Club aims to provide a space where students can develop an understanding of Wealth Management, learn the importance of setting goals to achieve financial success, enable students to discover their career passions, and create a sense of community for those interested in Wealth Management Advisory.

This club is open to not just all FDU Silberman Business Majors, but all majors at FDU, FDU Silberman Professors, Staff, and Alumni are invited to come and join the club.
