Lucid dreaming occurs when one recognizes and knows they are dreaming. Please take caution in your lucid dreaming experience attempts. Relax appropriately 20 to 30 minutes before going to sleep and take note of your surroundings. Practice a technique to reaffirm yourself that you are dreaming such as touching your index finger to your corresponding palm (for example: in a lucid dreaming state your finger may pass through your palm). Be patient and enjoy your experiences.
