Ethereum set a tentative date for the Shanghai hardfork. March 2023 will be the date set to release the latest upgrade to the Ethereum blockckhain. The Shanghai hardfork will bring upgrades such as the release of stETH rewards and also layer 2 scaling solutions. Tho ETH stated that their will be no scaling upgrades to Ethereum itself in the next upgrade.
